Mal Green Tebet Sealed Due to Tax Arrears

Local Tax Services Unit (UPPD) officers from Tebet Sub-district sealed Mal Green Tebet which located on Jalan MT Haryono, South Jakarta. The sealing was done due to land and building tax arrears of the Mall.
The unpaid taxes amount is around Rp 1.8 billion of 4 years in arrears
"The unpaid taxes amount is around Rp 1.8 billion of 4 years in arrears. However, we continue to collect since March," said Imron Cholid, Tebet Local Tax Services Unit Head, Thursday (12/11).
According to Cholid, his side has came a few times to do a reprimand and collect the mall tax liabilities which managed by PT Wahana Cipta Sejahtera Sentosa. But the owners and managers are often reject to pay off.

Cholid added, installing big sealing banner and sealing pole is as a form of a stern warning to all taxpayers to pay obligations on time.
"It's a shock therapy. We'll send a force letter if this condition exists. No payment until 3 days, the building will be confiscated and auctioned," he added.
Mal Green Tebet is managed by PT Wahana Cipta Sentosa Sejahtera and built above the Kostrad Darmaputra Foundation land in a lease status for 30 years. "When the time runs out, the mall building will belong to Kostrad," he disclosed.
